The ice cream here is amazing! I took my grandson here and they are so family friendly! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

When we arrived I did not see the menu that was posted on here with the review.... kinda bummed out we had to settle for just a scoop of horchata ice cream the only thing they had was churros and ice cream. The horchata ice cream was delish.... I'd go back for that. One scoop was enough for me. My daughter got honey dew and that was also delish and the milk tea was okay.

I love their banana Oreo ice cream. Pros - Chicken wing flavors Variety of Asian fusion, ice cream, gelato, fried foods, chicken wings, islander combos. Portions are worth the money, not skimpy at all. Ambiance is upbeat, but I went without a jacket and was freezing inside. (December).

Alameda Scoop! Worth the time to check this place out and try the food!!! If you love the food at Monkey King and Monkey King at the brewery in Alameda then you'll enjoy the snack options here. YES! Its kid friendly and they even have a small play section for kids.

Big space with good food & dessert. Attended the soft opening and got to try a variety of items such as the hot cheetos elote, spicy chicken po' boy, sweet potato tempura fries & little man's garlic shrimp. The elote could have used more mayo or seasoning. It was a little dry/bland to me. Other than that, the food & gelato were pretty good. Tasty shrimp! Sampled the green tea oreo and milk tea flavor gelato. Both were creamy and not too sweet. Would like to return to try their tuna tartare & other items.

The renovation is done! 5 stars for expanding into a HUGE shared space for the Monkey King at Alameda Brewing now with Alameda Scoop. Overall this rating is for the vibe of this place and the big difference it will make coming to Alameda Brewing and Monkey King. Alameda Scoop is like a side ice cream bonus. "Gelato" is okay, lots of fruit flavors. I'm not going to compare this to an actual Italian Gelateria from Italy, because that's just not fair. Excited to see what upgrades the regular food menu will get and hope the "Gelato" will improve over time. No more crowded game nights in Alameda Brewing/Monkey King :)
